Dhaka/New Delhi:&nbsp;Around 1,200 unidentified people have been charged in two cases filed with Patuakhali’s Kalapara police station following the death of a Chinese national in a brutal clash at the 1,320-megawatt thermal power plant project site at Payra in Patuakhali on Tuesday (June 18).Md Monirul Islam, Officer-In-Charge of Kalapara police station, informed that the security director of Payra power plant Wang Le Jhing filed the cases on Thursday night accusing 500 to 600 unidentified people each.Police have already arrested 16 people in connection with the two cases. Of the arrested four—Sujon Talukder, Sajib Sharif, Abdul Jalil and Mamun Talukder—were arrested from Modhupur village on Thursday night in connection with the case filed over vandalism in the power plant. They were later sent to jail after they were presented in front of a judicial magistrate.On Tuesday, a Chinese worker was killed, while seven others sustained injuries after a scuffle broke out between Chinese and Bangladeshi labourers at Payra power plant in &nbsp;Patuakhali.
